Itinerary introduction

►Chiang Kai-shek Shilin Residence

In 1950, the official residence of then-President Chiang Kai-shek was established at this location. Over the years, it became a sacred and inviolable place in the eyes of the citizens. After 46 years of tight security, it was officially opened to the public in 1996. Now, it has become a popular spot for flower appreciation, especially known for its orchids and roses. For friends interested in admiring roses, the best time to visit is from March to May!

►The National Palace Museum

Entering the premises of the National Palace Museum, visitors are initially awed by the magnificent architecture and displays. The interior showcases rare artifacts from millennia of Chinese culture. Visiting Taiwan, one should not miss this museum, which holds a treasure trove of history spanning thousands of years.

►Zhuzihu

Located on Yangmingshan, Zhuzihu offers not only serene mountain scenery but also spectacular sights during the calla lily season from March to May and the hydrangea season from May to June. The vast fields adorned with pure white and colorful blooms are sure to leave unforgettable memories on your journey.

►Beitou Hot Spring

One of the most famous hot spring destinations in northern Taiwan, this area has enjoyed a renowned reputation since the Japanese colonial era. The hot spring establishments are concentrated along Zhongshan Road, Guangming Road, and near the Beitou Park Geothermal Valley. In total, there are approximately 44 hot spring resorts, each with its unique characteristics. It is a must-visit itinerary for those who deeply appreciate the experience of soaking in hot springs.

►Thermal Valley

Thermal Valley is one of the sources of Beitou Hot Springs, with sulfuric vapors lingering throughout the year. The pervasive mist, coupled with the scent of sulfur, evokes a somewhat eerie atmosphere, leading to its alternative names, "Hell Valley" or "Ghost Lake." Walking into the geothermal valley and experiencing the misty, enveloping ambiance is indeed a unique and special experience.
