Itinerary introduction
►Alishan Forest Recreation Area
The Alishan National Scenic Area is one of Taiwan's renowned tourist destinations, with the Alishan Forest Recreation Area being its most famous attraction. The area is known for the Alishan Five Wonders, including sunrise, sea of clouds, sunset, forests, and the Alishan Railway. Visitors can enjoy abundant forest resources, the Alishan cherry blossom season from March to April, and immerse themselves in a cultural journey featuring the heritage of the Tsou indigenous people.
►Tataka saddle
The Yushan Tataka Saddle, situated at an elevation of 2,610 meters, is the highest point on the Central Cross-Island Highway. For mountain climbers, it serves as a crucial pass on the way to Taiwan's highest peak, Yushan. Visitors to this location can marvel at the majestic alpine scenery, overseeing the winding stretches of the highway.

►Couple Tree
The Couple Tree, named for two paired dead red cypresses leaning against each other in an intimate embrace like a married couple, has become a famous landmark in Yushan National Park. Despite surviving forest fires and lightning strikes, the Couple Tree succumbed to heavy rainfall in 2017. Sadly, the Husband Tree collapsed, leaving only the Wife Tree standing alone by the roadside.

►Dongpu Hot Spring
Dongpu Hot Spring is located in the township of Xinyi, Nantou County, at an altitude of approximately 1200 meters. It is a nationally renowned hot spring destination, with its source situated at the foothills of Wangxiang Mountain on the eastern side. The hot spring is accessible by about a 30-minute walk from the station.

►Meizi Dream Factory
The Plum Blossom Dream Factory, located in Xinyi Township, was initially a food processing plant and has now transformed into a plum wine vineyard. Their products incorporate the life stories of mountain residents, featuring exquisite and adorable packaging, making them ideal as souvenirs. Interestingly, the famous "Malasang" from the well-known Taiwanese movie "Cape No. 7" also originated from this factory!

►Dongshi Fishing Port
Dongshi Fishing Port is renowned for its abundant seafood supply, offering a variety of fresh catches from the sea, with oysters being a particular specialty. The port is gradually transforming into a tourist destination, featuring a Fisherman's Wharf in the new port area. In 2018, numerous large-scale art installations were added, with a row of colorful houses being particularly eye-catching. Apart from this, visitors can also take sightseeing fishing boats to Waisanding Sandbar, making sunset a perfect time to appreciate the beautiful scenery at this location.
