Chiang Mai Sightseeing Tour and National Park, this national park covers an area of 1,005 square kilometers and is located on Doi Inthanon, the highest peak in Thailand, at an altitude of 2,565 meters. Doi Doi Inthanon National Park is home to about 362 different species of birds, many of which are not found anywhere else in Thailand.

Efforts have been made recently to allow these unique villages to maintain their traditional culture while co-existing with modern developments such as tourism and the Bhumibol Reservoir, which provides electricity to thousands of Thai people using hydroelectric power from the Ping River.
Doi Inthanon is a popular attraction for tourists visiting the area, not only for its natural beauty but also for its historical importance. You can see the pagodas (monuments) built for their royal majesties, kings and queens on the top of the mountain.
The park has undergone some adjustments to accommodate visitor trade as well as some eating areas and accommodation. The rough terrain is now full of intersecting trails and roads, making it more accessible for tourists. However, the development process is strictly controlled and every effort is made to preserve the natural beauty of the environment.
Doi Inthanon is a 2-hour drive from Chiang Mai. Generally, there are several ways to go to Doi Inthanon, self-driving, chartered cars, riding heavy motorcycles and cycling, but I do not recommend riding heavy motorcycles. Doi Inthanon Mountain Nature Trail takes several hours to complete, and maps and guides are provided at the ranger station for tourists to ask for.
King & Queen Pagoda (Grand Pagoda Nabhapolbhumisiri)
Near the summit of Mount Doi Inthanon, you'll find two stupas built for their royal majesties, the king and queen. The stupas are positioned facing the hills, about 100 meters (330 feet) apart from each other. They were built to commemorate the 60th birthdays of the king and queen, and each stupa contains exquisite carvings of Buddha images and elaborate murals. On a clear day, the views from the mountain are stunning, but there is often cloud cover or thick fog that obscures visibility.
Wachirathan Waterfall
Wachiratan Falls, halfway to the summit, offers some pretty great swimming pool holes at the base of the 40-meter (131-foot) waterfall. However, swimming in one of the pool holes is not for the faint of heart as the water temperature is extremely cold. Near the summit, you'll find the slender white wisps of Siripum Waterfall (Siripum Waterfall), usually less crowded than its cousins. However, the water level of Siri Ben Waterfall varies considerably with the seasons.
